n an era when every star is also seemingly a high-end fashion designer
(Beyoncé, J. Lo, Gwen Stefani and Nicky Hilton, to toss out a few),
it’s refreshing to hear that Daisy Fuentes’ new line of clothes is
for the so-called little people, not the glitterati with gold cards. In fact,
Fuentes, a down-home kind of girl “who happens to be on TV,” is

to make America more well-rounded and tolerant of other cultures, she has
certainly come a long way from her days as a weathergirl on Univision in New
York. And while she doesn’t aspire to the type of fame Lopez enjoys
(auditioning makes her physically ill), she is still searching for the right
television niche for her brand of honest and charming entertainment. Until
